Dove

Mourning Dove Coo

Saturday afternoon Mr. B used the ladder to tie up our grape vines.

On Monday morning a Mourning Dove was building a nest on the top rung of the ladder.

Since then she has been sitting on the nest.

I feel like an Auntie in the maternity waiting room.

I am so excited to see those little ones!

  1. That is the cutest dove I have ever seen. And you said you had trouble photographing birds. Can't wait to see the babies. We have had stellar jays building a nest out of twigs under the rafters above our deck, but it's so high we can't see in. Who knows what's going on in there. And the chickadees are back in our bird house. A great spring for bird watching.
